The cycle routes are well signposted on Öland's small roads. The 450 kilometre Ölandsleden cycle path runs around the entire island, but you can also opt for a shorter route. The Öko Park Cycle Route is a 40 kilometre route through the Böda forest, which is part of the Sveaskog Eco Park. There are also a number of long-distance hiking trails and marked paths on Öland. The Iron Age village of Rosendal, the Skäftekärr open-air archaeological museum and the haunted castle of Borgholm also offer beautiful experiences.
