Lots of pros and some cons! For the pros: of course, AMAZING location, good price, stunning view from the rooftop, the a/c worked, the water pressure was good, nice big mini fridge, the bed was comfortable and the guests were all very quiet and friendly staff! Cons: thankfully the guests WERE quiet for our stay because walls are paper thin, we stayed in room 12. No hand soap, small bathroom, not a lot of space to set things down, and there was a pipe in our room that created a loud high pitched noise constantly during our stay which we were able to quiet by flushing the toilet (???!) There was sand on the floors when we arrived which got into the bed immediately. No ice machine on property. There was water with cups available however. Overall… this is a great spot in Venice Beach for the solo or couple travelers who want to explore Venice specifically. You can’t find a better beach front spot for the price. It’s really convenient to everything and you’ll be taken care of just fine! Though there are some cons we definitely would recommend and will be back.

This was a cute little hotel in a great location. You can’t get closer to the ocean. It was literally right on the beach. The staff were very personable and helpful.

Staff was great. overall stay was quiet and peaceful. parking is additionally $20 and it has to be prepaid and if available for the day. never the less, there’s local street parking within five block radius. blocks are small so it isn’t too far. coffee shoppe and beach right around hotel. not noisy at all. building has quiet hours after 10 pm which was nice. There were no irons in the room but there was a blow dryer. over all small room but cozy for one or two people.local to muscle beach and the venice boardwalk. i would stay again.

The staff was very helpful, the room had everything needed - the ocean view was beautiful. It is an older hotel - super accessible and has a very nice patio just at the beach. I would absolutely stay here again.

I had an 11 day stay here and it was very nice ; 24 hour staff , very friendly , clean property. Walk down to Venice beach [ lots of action ] , or walk to Washington rd to restaurants , bars etc . Great location ,safe and fun . I had the suite !!

This hotel was perfect for us. The location right on the beach, near restaurants and with parking with a great patio overlooking the beach was just what we needed. The rooms were a bit small but clean and well maintained and it’s on the beach so we didn’t notice. We would definitely go back.

Location was the best part of this stay. Rooms were outdated and needed to be better maintained. The air conditoner was dripping onto the floor and onto our suitcase. The floors needed to be better mopped. The tv in our room did not work. The hotel did provide beach towels for our stay which was nice but we were definielty surprised by the photos which have not been updated.

The Staff was excellent... However, the room floor wasn't very clean, I walked around in my "white socks" they were black when I took them off... I litterally had to squeeze between the sink and shower door to get in / out of the shower... no hand soap for the sink... the room needs major renovations
