Welcome to the Topanga Tiny Home — a one-of-a-kind architectural retreat perched on the edge of Topanga Canyon. The defining feature of this home isn't its compact design — it's the infinity pool and hot tub poised above the canyon, with unobstructed views of Topanga State Park, surrounding ridgelines, and golden California sky. There is nothing like it in Los Angeles.
OUTDOOR LIVING (THE MAIN EVENT):
The infinity pool hangs at the canyon's edge — a shimmering visual that never gets old, whether you're swimming at golden hour or gazing up at the stars from the hot tub at night. The wrap-around deck and backyard outdoor dining area with BBQ complete an outdoor living experience that far exceeds what the square footage might suggest.
Note: Pool heating is available as a paid add-on ($100/day, billed for the full stay duration). Spa heating is complimentary. Pool and spa cannot be heated simultaneously.
INTERIOR DESIGN:
The home is architecturally intentional. High ceilings, oversized windows, and thoughtful storage make the space feel expansive and airy. The sleeping loft features a queen bed tucked beneath the vaulted ceiling — cozy, private, and just right for two. Please note: the loft stairs have no handrail and the loft ceiling height only allows for sitting, not standing. Not recommended for young children or mobility-impaired guests.
KITCHEN & WORKSPACE:
A fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances handles everything from a morning espresso to a full meal. A dedicated workspace and high-speed Wi-Fi make remote work or creative projects entirely viable.
WELLNESS EXPERIENCES:
Enhance your stay with optional on-site offerings: Reiki, energy healing, forest bathing, sound healing, and massage. Please inquire for availability when booking.
Guest Access:
Guests enjoy the entire property — the home, wrap-around deck, backyard, infinity pool, hot tub, and outdoor dining area are all yours for the duration of your stay.
1–2 parking spaces available in the driveway in front of the black gate. Street parking in Fernwood is limited and narrow — please use the designated driveway spots. Additional vehicle requests can be accommodated — just ask in advance.
The Neighborhood:
This tiny home sits in the Fernwood area of Topanga Canyon — a storied, arts-driven enclave tucked between the Santa Monica Mountains and the Pacific Ocean, just 15 minutes from Malibu.
Topanga has long attracted artists, musicians, and free thinkers: Joni Mitchell wrote "Woodstock" here; Neil Young, Jim Morrison, and countless others called Topanga home. Today, it remains one of the few places in Los Angeles where nature, community, and creativity converge without city noise or density.
From the property, you have direct walking access to Topanga State Park — the largest wildland within the limits of any U.S. city, with over 36 miles of trails. The Kerry Lane trailhead leads to panoramic canyon and ocean views. The Observation–Grand View–Sischo neighborhood loop is perfect for a morning walk.
Topanga Village, just a few minutes away, offers beloved local cafés, organic restaurants, and independent boutiques. Pacific Coast Highway is 15 minutes west, putting Malibu beaches, surf breaks, and some of LA's finest dining within easy reach. Santa Monica is 30 minutes east.
This is a place where guests arrive for a night and leave planning their next visit.
