I typically don’t submit reviews when I find a “hidden treasure”, but this Hotel deserves a beyond 10+ submission. I spend 90% of my time in Los Angeles, and am very familiar with Hotels. Until Saturday Night when I made a booking “The Onyx” location, description, and price was worth a try. The Property, Staff, Rooms, and Price are all absolutely fantastic. Whether you’re a local or coming to Hollywood as a tourist; I would without hesitation recommend this Property as the Place to Stay.

We had a two bed room. It was very nice, clean and comfortable. The workers were very helpful and kind. The hotel is located near the Hollywood blvd and observatory. In summary it was a very pleasant experience!

The parking lot is a little tight but no one messes with your vehicle they have cameras and they also monitor them all the time. I stayed here before when my children’s father passed and we stayed here again when their uncle passed. This will be my go to because of the location. It’s a great location and easy to get to attractions!

Room smelled kind of bad and the floor was buckling. The bathroom was remodeled and very nice. Had a microwave, coffeemaker, and refrigerator which was nice. The bed was very comfortable too.
