Really unique Hollywood glamour boutique experience that puts you on the street of rodeo drive which is ideal for serious luxury shoppers. Not far from Beverly Center, Shops at the Grove also. There is a cute bar and restaurant that serves amazing drinks and has a nice menu. It was a really singular stay with amazing photography of Hollywood icons, classy yet casual vibe. I would go back.

The hotel is in an excellent location, but that’s the only good thing.While the door and safe are fitted for a card passkey, you were given a key to use. There was no chair in the room, so I had to request one. Extremely small bathroom. The window faced a wall. The unit had a small, noisy window A/C. I felt this hotel is being run for max profit, due to location.

The bed left a lot to be desired. It was on an exposed metal frame (which I schwacked my ankles on several times) and a mattress with an edge so hard it was painful to sit on - and it was not secure. I was swaying all over on that bed! Like on a sailboat. Showers and bathroom have distressed concrete which is giving prison. Really need to upgrade the beds and bathrooms. Ramon at Valet was a rock star.

Where do I even begin? Every member of the staff was amazing. They were so kind, so helpful, and so friendly. However, I was put in room 109 and I want to urge every future guest to remember if you get room 109 do not take it. Make them change you to another room. It is street level, it has a window air conditioner, which leaves open space for all of the noise to come in. The valet is literally right next to that window and they talk until late at night, laughing and being loud. I’m not sure but I think the kitchen might be under that room because the noise was so much so that I had to call the front desk and complain about it. It didn’t help it continued on all week. It was extremely bad on Friday night. They apparently are aware of the noise because there was a whole jar of sponge earplugs on the nightstand next to the bed. That’s how bad it was. I’m not exaggerating! The floor appeared to be peel and stick tile which was coming up, and there were many uneven places in the floor. The bathroom floor is so uneven that the door would get caught halfway open on the floor, and I had to shove it to continue opening it. Overall, the hotel is cute and charming because of its history. It has a very retro vibe to it, which makes it pretty. But the trade-off and comfort and quiet is not worth the aesthetics. 10 out of 10 do not recommend and I will never stay there again.
