Property was amazing other than the fact that there was no parking available. The lot that was open next to the hotel for parking was $40 ever 24hrs and no guarantee that you can come and go otherwise your spot may be taken. The hotel said they patrol the lot once an hour which is cool and all but it’s not preventing anything. I got back to the lot one day to park and some girl was balling her eyes out because someone had smashed her window in and took all of her stuff

Great staff!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was great with plenty of restaurants to walk to. The room was spacious, modern, and clean. The best part was the staff! The front desk and security staff were friendly, fantastic, and very helpful. We look forward to our next stay.

Nice hotel in downtown LA

The hotel rooms are very spacious & comfy. The bed was so comfortable. I love that the room had a fridge, stove top & oven to allow you to cook instead of go out to eat all the time. There is a washer & dryer in the room. The workers are so nice & helpful. The only negative is that it doesn't have on-site parking. There is a small parking lot behind the hotel - cost is $30/night. You are in downtown LA so it's kinda ghetto with lots of homeless & smells like pee as you walk down the sidewalk. As nice as it is, I don't think I'd stay here again.

Property is very nice. Loved the inside and how roomy it was. There’s plenty of parking lots around the area but it would be great if they give overnight discount for hotel guests. No in and out privileges. Would not stay there again because of parking issue.

Marriott purchase Hiccups

I do really like this Sonder it’s my second stay, however… the hiccups I. Joining Marriott are unbearable. I was locked out with a wrong code in downtown LA at midnight after having checked in as a woman alone. Two blocks from skid row. Straight wild. Unsafe. Despite being Marriott silver. One would think it got better…..

Failure

Hotels.com showed a room available. Sonder The Craftsman showed a room available. I booked a room, received a confirmation, and then the reservation was cancelled by The Sonder. Apparently, they had NO ROOMS available. I was blocks away from the hotel when I found out.
