Iconic Venice Beach bungalow, just a few minutes` walk from the beach, the Venice Canals, and Abbot Kinney shopping.
You walk in and the first thing you notice is the light. Abundant windows make the rooms feel even more spacious. Within minutes you`re relaxed, at home, as if a friend lent you their beloved family house. It is equally welcoming to a single traveler or a family with small children.
The space
If you decide to relax at home, instead of embarking on an adventure, you will find the main house features a bright queen bedroom and a full bathroom, plus a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. The detached guest suite is tucked away in the backyard and has a king bed, its own A/C and heat, and large windows overlooking the patio.
Patio: Outside, the spacious, gated backyard patio features a built-in fire pit, an outdoor BBQ with griddle, a dining table for six, and lounge seating, ideal for al fresco dinners, morning coffee, or evenings under the stars.
Cooking/Eating: Food lovers tend to feel at home here. The kitchen is set up to actually use, with a high-functioning gas stove, good knives, quality utensils, and a proper coffee setup. Outside there is a BBQ with a griddle.
Neighborhood: Walk to Venice Beach`s legendary boardwalk, skate park, and roller dancing circle, or explore the iconic canals just a few blocks away. Abbot Kinney is right around the corner, lined with Michelin-recognized restaurants like Felix Trattoria and Gjelina, artisan coffee shops, boutiques, and street art. Grab a $20 Erewhon smoothie, pass technicolor murals, and discover something new every time you step outside.
Relax: You`re here to enjoy Venice. You can skip the dishes, skip the laundry, skip the tidy-up. We will take care of all of it. Just relax, get a coffee, see the beach, get something delicious to eat and chill.
Guest access
Driveway at the back of the house is available for guest use. Please note: it fits compact cars most comfortably. Larger vehicles may need to use street parking.
Other things to note
The second bedroom shares an exterior wall with the alley, so light noise is possible. Most guests don’t find it disruptive, but we like to mention it in advance, especially for light sleepers
While the house is child friendly, parents of toddlers and small children should be aware the home isn`t child-proofed, so parents should plan to supervise.
