The house temperature was 65°F even though the thermostat was set to heat to 75°F. I raised it to 80°F, but the temperature never changed. The house remained cold all day and night, and I ended up getting sick with a severe flu, including fever and muscle aches that lasted a week.
While I was sick and trying to rest, the resident maintenance staff ran laundry daily from around 11 AM to 3 PM, loudly slamming washer and dryer doors and slamming the mop against the wall while to cleaning. The washer/dryer are located only 3 feet from my room door, making it impossible to sleep or recover during that period.
To make matters worse, maintenance knocked on my door to ask permission to host their daughter’s birthday party in the shared living room from 6PM to 8PM. I agreed and even gave them permission to use my personal air fryer, then explained that I would be in my room sick. The party started around 6:30 PM and lasted until midnight, with 2 children running around and screaming in the living room. The parents were also spoke loudly throughout the evening, offering no effort to keep noise down.
During the same evening, they repeatedly used my personal air fryer approximately every 30 minutes throughout the night (more than 10 times). The following day, I found that the air fryer was no longer functioning.
This place is poorly managed, consistently noisy, and not suitable for anyone who needs a quiet, comfortable stay—especially if you are unwell or with personal belongings.
