The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was good, but needs more choices. The hotel does NOT have a shuttle to the airport or the cruise terminal. $38/night for parking is excessive considering the room rates.

Trip was previously planned, didn't have time to experience the pool, but did view. Breakfast had too many carbohydrate food items that people with health special diets shouldn't eat. Being a diabetic, your choices for my diet was, oatmeal, with most available toppings could be eaten, scrambled eggs, some of the fresh fruit. All 6 of my grand children loved the breakfast choices.

We honestly loved everything about this property. Very convenient to walk to the queen mary and so close to everything. The room was clean and very comfortable to relax in. Over all experience was amazing.

Great place in Long Beach

I really like this hotel, the service was friendly, the hotel was quiet and a good location near the Queen Mary and right on the water. The free breakfast was also great!

There is an easy walking path over the bridge right to the Aquarium of the Pacific, and a free bus, Passport, that takes you to and from downtown. The complimentary breakfast was very fresh.

$38 a night for parking is highway robbery! Clean rooms with dirty windows, loud partying at the park next door until 2am was enough to interrupt sleep on the 4th floor. Nice location. Staff was friendly. Factoring in another 40 bucks a night, I could have stayed in a nicer hotel.

We booked a one-night stay before embarking on our cruise. We took a Lyft from LAX. It dropped us right at the front door. Check-in was smooth and the front desk employee was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, well-appointed, and had a beautiful view. We ordered delicious pasta from Big E pizza based on an employee's recommendation. The breakfast had great variety and was good. Check-out was smooth. They were able to break some larger bills for me at the front desk for tipping on the cruise ship. We took the walking path rather than using a ride share. It is mostly a beautiful paved sidewalk along the water and others were doing the same. There are some parking lots to cross. It was doable. Realistic expectations: the sofa bed is a sofa bed. It's not anything to rave about, but works for one night. There is not a lot of shopping on this side of the bridge or restaurants that deliver nearby if you have no vehicle. You can have food delivered for a fee. I would book Residence Inn again if we do another Long Beach cruise.
