A great hotel just 3 blocks from Sunset Strip, the rooms are spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The rooftop pool and bar are nice and the staff are really friendly and helpful.

I had such a lovely stay at this charming Beverly Hills hotel. The room felt cozy and elegant with a fireplace and a private balcony — two of my favorite touches that made it feel extra special. Service was absolutely fantastic from start to finish: warm, attentive, and professional without ever being overbearing. It’s rare to find a spot that feels both luxurious and comfortable, but this hotel strikes that balance perfectly. I absolutely LOVE this hotel! We stayed in a 1 Bdr balcony suite and it was WELL worth the upgrade. The hotel was on a nice quiet street. The staff was attentive but not over-bearing. The pool was amazing to relax by during the day. I’ll be staying again.

We spent six nights at the Montrose and it was a wonderful hotel. We had great views of WeHo, the area is very quiet and walkable to shops and restaurants. We rented a car for a few days and the valet service was friendly and quick. The staff were friendly, we at in the restaurant a few times. The rooftop pool area was great as well; nice big loungers, the pool itself is very tiny but it was not busy during our stay. The rooms were very spacious, seperate living area and bedroom, large bathroom. Everything was in good condition and we had no problems. This is a great quiet little hotel if you are thinking of visiting LA. We used Montrose as our base and easily drove around or caught Lyft's where we needed to. Highly recommend this hotel for the price and what you get quality of room and quiet neighbourhood.

There is a clear difference in personal interactions with Montrose employees and any highline hotel. Let me be clear: Everyone is helpful and courteous. But that subtle difference that makes a place truly shine is missing. An example is in the verbiage used to answer the phone, check someone in and address issues. "Its my pleasure, thank you" "Oh I apologize about that but it will be handled immediately" "would you mind holding for just a moment and I will check right now" (instead of "O ne minute" and a click as I am put on hold. The little things make a BIG difference. Just some training...along with a team who understands and enjoy displaying example after examply, daily, of great service. Again, Montrose is better than 90% of hotels. Another ladder rung up would be the attention to detail and utmost courtesy in every interaction.
