I stayed at this hotel in June 2025 and had a disappointing experience. I requested a quiet room before my arrival, but upon check-in I was placed in a room right next to the entryway. I returned to the front desk to ask for a quieter room and was told there were none available that afternoon, but one might be ready the next day. I explained that noise would be an issue, and then I was told that if I waited another hour, a quiet room would become available.
When I finally checked into the quieter room. the digital iPad system that controls the temperature, lighting, and blinds was completely non-functional, and there were a number of tangled cords exposed. The room was freezing cold, and when I called the front desk to report the problem, I was told they didn’t have an extra comforter available but that someone could manually adjust the temperature for me that evening.
The next day, it still didn't work. Since I only had one more night, I said that was fine. The staff member I initially interacted with seemed impatient and mildly annoyed by my requests, which made the situation even more unpleasant. However, the staff member who assisted me at checkout was kind and professional.
I calmly explained what had happened, and the manager later called to apologize and offered me a 15% discount. To my surprise, instead of applying 15% off the total stay, they only discounted one night.
This lack of integrity and professionalism left a bad impression - Mayumi is a no-go.
