We stayed at Loews Hollywood hotel for the Rose Bowl and could not have been more happy. This staff - and I mean everyone from the Valet, to conceirge to front desk to front bar to the little food depo - were all so nice and polite, never did they act annoyed with the amount of Indiana University fans in one place. The water pressure is the most amazing I have ever experienced at any place I have stayed - and when you have thick hair this sticks out! It was super easy to get around both walking and when we had to drive from this hotel. Overall, they made this trip that much more special!! annannoyed with the amoufansUexperience

Cannot find a better location to visit the theatres. Close by parking and restaurants, as well. 15 min to Burbank airport, and in-hotel Avis rental is a plus. After a day at the universal studios which is 15min away, it is like heaven to dive in the constant temperature pool for a relax swim. Friendly front desk and service helping us set up in-room hot water boiler as well. Will definitely come back again.

Overall good experience. I could not give 5 stars because I don't think the resort fee is justified and there was an issue with our room. What I liked: fluffy warm bathrobes, magnifying mirror in the bathroom, comfy beds, excellent location. What I didn't like: 1) We booked through Expedia a King standard room inputting that we were a party of 2 adults and 1 teenager. The description said occupancy 3 instead of "sleeps 2 with max occupancy of 3". We had assumed a sofa bed when we see occupancy 3. When we checked in we were told all of us would have to sleep in the king bed. BUT we could upgrade to a room with a sofa bed for another $50USD per night. I was too tired to argue because the Lillian the check in person said this is a problem they frequently have with Expedia. After a good night's sleep I decided to check the Loews Hotel own website and they have the EXACT same description which we felt was misleading. The manager Fadi, gave us 6 vouchers for their breakfast buffet (priced at $35USD per person plus 20% gratuities and taxes). We were satisfied with this; we would never normally pay this amount for breakfast. They have a warm swimming pool, no hot tub. The hotel is connected to a small mall, the Dolby Theatre and the Chinese Mann Theatre. You can get to all these places without going onto the sidewalk area. Some rooms have nice views of the Hollywood sign. There is an exercise room. All the ellipticals were out of service. Thanks to Jayro for the late check out.
