This is a great choice for a budget hotel stay. Staff was friendly, parking is great, and there are lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. However, the room was a bit shabby and run-down - odd color choices and mismatched furniture, loose floor tiles, and the shower head was a bit wonky. Overall. It was great for the price and location, and perfectly fine for a short stay.

We are grateful we found the Hyland. The room was extremely affordable. Parking was safe. Check-in was friendly and quick. Room was clean, comfortable and large. Bed was cozy and comfortable. When requested a late checkout we were answered with a quick absolutely! My girlfriend loved the scent of the bottled soap. Very expensive scented. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks for the hospitality.

Check-in was easy; so was parking. Room remodeling was great, especially the room lighting. Bed was comfy; pillows small but okay. No closet for clothes and thing to hang them on was a bit 'high' for many folks. Could have used a hook on back of bathroom door. I'd stay here again!

There were baby cockroaches in the room. When we entered, the lights were on, so we didn't see any roaches. Once the lights were turned off, they came out of hiding. I took pictures and a short video. The front desk viewed the pictures and video and apologized.
