Kind front desk people and the lady who checked us in let us know about signing up to be a member would allow us to get a free breakfast, which we were grateful to receive as a perk. Beautiful and clean from entrance to room. Loved that check out was a little later than typical hotels. Breakfast was okay and a fair spread. Hotel was very convenient for the event we were attending and in walking distance to everywhere we could want to go. The only notable bummer is that the AC in the room is by motion detection and we run a little warm. We were really looking forward to sleep in a cool room and it was warm so we tossed and turned all night. The bed was comfortable but the room temperature definitely was not.

There was a flosser left on the floor by the sofa from a previous guest. The hotel lost power to the hotel rooms for 8 hours during one day of our stay. They did offer free non-alcoholic drinks to those of us spending time in the lobby during the evening while the power was out but did not offer any other considerations such as a discount on current stay or any future Hyatt Place stays at that or other locations.
