The hotel and the area around the hotel outside were a bit noisy at night. However the hotel itself was ok, we enjoyed the rooftop pool a couple of times and loved the location next to the harbor where we enjoyed dinner a couple of nights

This is a really nice property with clean rooms, easy access to shopping and plenty amenities. There is a restaurant there that is quite pricey, and it is the restaurant alone that has lowered my rating so much. I stayed only 1 night and had pizza and wings there, which weren't too bad. The next morning, I went for breakfast and checked out the pastries in the case. To my surprise and dismay, there was a cockroach running around in the case with the pastries. A fly would have already deterred me, but a cockroach was unacceptable. Considering I ate there the night prior, I am concerned about the cleanliness of the kitchen area.

The front desk staff did not seem to be as experienced or seasoned, but they were pleasant and helpful as it related to knowledge base if asked questions. Room service was exceptional. Shopping galore as well as restaurants & bars. Close to the beach and waterfront areas. Walking and access to everything is very convenient. They had a vendor marketplace going on in the heart of the hotel area. Very family friendly area and close to the freeway. This hotel is in the heart of the action for things to do and explore.
