The pictures of the common areas belie the disrepair inside the rooms: broken, uneven flooring; uncomfortable beds. Limited, very tight, poorly situated parking required backing a vehicle out of the tight lot onto a busy street, with almost no visibility.
At check-in I was disconcerted as the desk clerk announced my room number outload and printed it in large bold letters on the parking pass we were required to display. Both are practices that should be ended for guest safety.
We paid through Hotels.com, but the parking fee wasn't covered. The Hotel took a $50 deposit at check-in (no problem there), saying we would get charged a $22.00 parking fee at check-out. At check-out the clerk couldn't or was unwilling to provide a receipt. After reviewing my credit card statement, it looks like they returned $22.00 of the deposit and charged us $23.00. A negligible cost difference, but I've never had a hotel unable to provide a receipt of their actual charges.
