Staff were nice. You need the room card to swipe in for access to most amenities. Public bathroom were clean, nice, and it's heated! One down side is that there's no coverage at all around the bunk bed. would appreciate if they can install a curtain or smth for each bed

I’m very impressed with my stay at the hostel. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The hostel has such a cool vibe with evening activities and movies to watch in the court yard. It feels safe and comfortable from the moment of walking in. The hostel is conveniently located within walking distance to the famous 3rd Street Promenade and the Santa Monica Pier. Lots of restaurants to choose from and easy access to transportation and highways. We stayed in a private room and it was very comfortable with basic amenities. I would definitely recommend staying here for the travelers that appreciate great hospitality with the simplicity of the basics. I look forward to returning here again on my next visit to Santa Monica LA again next year.

Great location in Santa Monica. Very modern and well equipped. Well ventilated. Plenty of showers per floor. Extra large lockers. Great list of hostel events. Would benefit from bed curtains to shield from light pollution from other occupants at night. Friendly and helpful staff.

They have gotten rid of free breakfast, there’s still coffee and tea available. A real disappointment when prices have remained the same. The beds aren’t the most comfortable as just open metal bunks but two pillows and the sheets are nicely crisp.
