The property its self is so aesthetically pleasing, reminds me a bit of Palm Springs. They have a pool with a hot tub, which was a hit for my kids. My one negative are the rooms. The wall paper was peeling in multiple spots and yellowing. Old dirty carpet. The blanket on one of the beds had stains on it. I was really expecting a more modern looking room that fit the rest of the hotel’s esthetic.

Overall, good stay.

The staff was great and very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The only issue was with the key cards for the room. They did not work a few times, and one of us had to stay in the room so the other person could get in. The staff tried to fix this situation, but it was still an issue. We also overheard other guests complaining about the key card situation. Otherwise, we had a really nice stay.

Have been staying here for years. It always looks the same but its ok for needs. They have good rates. They were awesome when covid happened i cx the same day we were there so we could come back home cause scary times. Gave me a full refund.

uncomfortable stay -not worh the money

The hotel is old, and the pictures online are much more appealing than the reality. The air conditioning is quite warm and struggles to cool the entire room. With a price of almost $600 for three days, I’m sure I can find a better option. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Such a cute place to stay in very convenient for the price, would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. free parking was a good amenity. The pool was a great amenities as well. Staff was always so friendly and over-the-top help me on things I needed.

Disappointing

The only positive was kind and caring front desk staff. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. Water temperature in the shower was impossible to control. It would go from ice cold to boiling hot, on it's own.

This property is very typical L.A., a nice facade and lobby, but the rest of the property is in dire need of renovations and renewal. The property has a lot of history, which you can really see everywhere. That can be both good and bad!

It’s not a hotel but a motel

Pros: Safe area Convenient location Clean bed Free parking/wifi Free coffee/tea/pop tart in the morning Cons: Filthy carpet in the room that leaves your feet black Semi broken shower head Room service needs to be manually requested on a daily basis Ultra sensitive room keys that gets deactivated if it’s near your cellphone Multiple hotel entrances’ hotel key access broken No free breakfast as mentioned in the listing I was impressed with the size of the hotel and the cleanliness of the lobby when I first arrive but was shocked at the dated age and poor condition of the rooms. It feels like an old motel rather than a hotel. The floor was absolutely filthy. Thank god the beds were clean and had no bed bugs.
