Glendale Express was the best! Front Desk was very friendly and efficient during check in. I was able to get a crib sent up for my baby with the Deluxe Double room. The room was very clean with an amazing view. We were able to see the pool from our balcony but couldn’t/didn’t swim due to rain. I was able to log in to my Hulu with ease and was automatically logged out when I turned off the TV. I would book again if we are in the area again.

Room was run down. Not as nice as it looks from the lobby and website. Strange smell. Had some ants in the bathroom. A suspicious hair on the bed sheets. I bought overpriced pepto bismol from the machine in the lobby. It spit out a bottle that wasn’t sealed properly. When I brought it up to the front desk person, she shrugged and said “yeah sorry, we don’t own those machines” which meant I had to buy 2 overpriced bottles to get one that I felt safe drinking from…

Location was amazing. Free parking is nice and good price. It was surprisingly quiet for how big the hotel is. Just a few little negative things - the rooms and building are quite dated and dingy. Small hairs on the towels. Pet friendly but not too many places to take your dog unless you walk all the way to the street. No water machine, but free pop tarts in the am!

It got very cold during my entire stay and the heat worked great. Very clean room, great staff, had terrible weather both days. Love this hotel for its nostalgia. It's old but very well build. Been there 3 times and plan to go back again next year.
