Looking for a fun and unforgettable stay on the water? Welcome aboard our cozy sailboat in beautiful Marina del Rey! This charming floating retreat is perfect for couples or adventurous travelers looking for a unique experience just minutes from Venice Beach.

The marina is a safe and lively area with security regularly patrolling, and you’ll be surrounded by ocean views, great cafés, and amazing restaurants all within walking distance.

Our sailboat is small but incredibly comfortable and full of character. It truly comes to life at night with beautiful ambient lighting that creates a magical vibe while you relax on the water. Fall asleep surrounded by the gentle sounds of the marina and wake up to sunshine and sea life — including our famous neighbors, the playful sea lions!

Inside the boat you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay:

Coffee maker, blender, and water kettle
Cozy heater that keeps the cabin warm while maintaining great airflow
One of the best parts of staying here is falling asleep under the stars and waking up on the water — it’s a peaceful and memorable experience you won’t find in a typical hotel.
There’s also plenty of fun nearby! Paddle boarding, kayaking, and other water activities are available in the marina, making it easy to enjoy the ocean lifestyle.
Please note: this is a sailboat experience, not a five-star hotel. It’s cozy, adventurous, and perfect for adventurous travelers looking for something different. Access requires stepping onto the boat, which can be a bit challenging, so it may not be ideal for older guests or anyone with mobility issues. While there is no bathroom inside the boat, the marina provides clean bathrooms and showers just a super short walk away. (Around a 15 second walk!)

Host did not disclose that the toilet on the boat was intentionally disabled(taped shut). Saying that there are bathrooms and showers nearby is not the same as disclosing that the toilet on the boat is unusable. No one expects there to be a shower or full bathroom on a small boat, so mentioning showers and bathrooms close by is a good feature. However, a toilet is not a bathroom, it is just a toilet. Since the boat has a toilet, it is reasonable to expect it to do what a toilet does unless told otherwise. Just like I would expect the boat to stay afloat without having to proactively confirm that. With no toilet, if my wife needed to use the toilet at 3 or 4 in the morning, then she would have to dismantle the boat door, climb out of the boat, walk the whole dock, go through a locked gate, cross a parking lot road and enter a locked area in a separate building to do so, all in an area that does not feel safe to us.

The boat started flooding. Management doesn’t want him renting. Asked us to stay gone until 5-6pm each day to avoid management & avoid being kicked out during our trip. When asked if he would refund us because the boat literally started flooding, he tried to instead put us into another rental down the street with NO furniture. Not a bed, not a couch, not even a damn napkin. This rental, on its own, ruined our very much awaited vacation. Don’t book. The pictures are so deceiving. It was dirty as hell, we literally found condoms from 2024 on the counter, covered in dust.

The boat was exactly as expected - The hosts were lovely leaving nothing g to surprise My only thought is when you book something, and there is no bathroom on board, Yea that sucked But it was in the description so .. they did warn me!!! lol
I hosed the boat off as I was leaving , just to say I hosed a boat off in my life!
Me and the primo living life , BBQd burgers and later in the week , a big fat steak!! That's an awesome little spot!!!! Thank you Esteban, for a great couple of days!!

This boat is a real camping adventure. I couldn't figure out the lighting the first day so I lit candles the second day I got the lights on and then they slowly dimmed and then went off because the battery ran outof power. But I had a flashlight. It's okay. There's no running water. The toilets on shore were locked up and the water didn't work in men's bathroom after I finally broke in. Other bathroom the sinks didn't drain and they were full of dirty water so that was kind of gross. but I was camping so it didn't matter. It was fun being on the docks seeing the beautiful morning with a fog. So I really like the experience as long as I remembered that I was camping

We had an awesome stay! The boat was exactly as described. If you love boats, you’ll definitely enjoy staying here. We slept great and really wished we could’ve stayed another night. Sitting outside under the stars was so peaceful.Estavan was an amazing host, super kind and patient (I was a bit of a dingbat trying to figure out where to meet for check-in).The marina’s in a great spot, close to beaches, shops, and restaurants. We didn’t walk anywhere this time, but there are definitely some places nearby if you want to explore.We’re already planning to come back and stay a few extra days next time!

The location of this boat simply can’t be beat! Bear in mind, you are essentially camping. Running water is a water dispenser by a sink, and no toilet facilities on the boat. If you’re someone who needs to get up during the night, you’ve going to want to improvise some other solution rather than getting off the boat, up the deck and into the bathroom facility in the middle of the night.The host is a good guy, responsive to questions. Be sure to get clear instructions on the location of the lockbox, it was tricky to find in the dark.
