The staff great. I did not like the ticket requirement for breakfast and the lack of variety. While the food is made or order, you have to wait to get it and if you are in a hurry to get out this is an issue. The bread is the large slice type, which doesn’t work in the small toaster. You have to put it in side ways and only half the bread gets toasted. In the room you only get one small container of soap so you either use it to wash your hands or for the shower. And I am not sure if it was an oversight or not, but there were no face towels in the room. Makes it hard to take a shower with a small bottle of body wash soap and no towel.

The shower was too strong, too much water pressure and the curtain doesn't cover the whole shower area, so water gets on the floor. Also, a few outlets were coming loose. In the lobby, the women's bathroom was out of order and the lights in the bathroom go out after 30 seconds of not moving. That's not safe. The staff was friendly and helpful when we needed them.

I stay in this place every time I am in CA with work. Handy for local restaurants that are not just chains. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is great. It is looking a bit run down in places but it's good value for money. Would have been a 4 star review, but I managed to ruin a shirt because the ironing board cover had drops of oil on it. It was quickly replaced, but it just shows that attention to detail is lacking.

Horrible no really for many reasons AVOID

I travel a lot and usually have been happy with Best Western. This place is THE WORST. When I checked in nobody was at the front desk for 30 minutes. I even called front desk and nobody answered. I finally checked in then at 3:30 in the morning there was a loud party in the room next to me that the front desk definitely heard. The next morning I asked to switch rooms and they did but the next morning there was a man by the pool Yelling profanity and threats. Wait it gets better. The next morning I asked if I could check out 1 day early. I was told to contact Hotels .com. I did that and the front desk told me YES. on check out I was told I would not get a refund I was lied to........ With so many OPTIONS Avoid this place

LIARS - I checked in a 8pm when o got to my room it only had one bed I had booked two queen size beds, I went back to the desk and he said I booked one king size bed. I showed him my reservation from Expedia where it clearly stated a standard room with two queen size beds. I was with a friend, he’s 78 and I’m 76 and we are not going to sleep in the same bed. He said they didn’t have anymore rooms with two beds and besides Expedia requested a room with one king size bed. We went round and round but he had no rooms with two beds. I ended up sleeping on pillows on the floor. I called Expedia in the morning and they confirmed they had requested what I booked, a standard room with two queen size beds. They called the hotel and the hotel admitted they (Expedia) booked the right room but they had ran out of those rooms (overbooked). I will never stay at this hotel again I will not stay where people lie straight face to you to cover their error and had total disregard for our comfort and what we reserved snd paid for!!! BEWARE these people should not be dealing with the public.
