Communicating with the host could be improved, they messaged but didn’t answer questions. There were no amenities and not enough toiletries. The place was cold but there was a space heater that worked well enough. Those can be dangerous though. The place was fine to sleep in, it didn’t feel the cleanest but I also checked in early not realizing the place had not been cleaned because when I requested the host emailed check in instructions which lead me to believe I could check in. There was a lot of noise from above, I could hear heavy walking and loud talking. I have never been able to hear that level of noise in any place I’ve stayed before. When I asked the host, they said they would ask the people above to quiet down. I really didn’t feel like this is a place I should have paid to stay and would have chose a hotel next time over this.
