Perfectly suited to small families or couples, The Beach Shack has classic beach house features in all the right places. Huge deck area seemingly sitting in the treetops, cosy open plan living with wood fire, good sized kitchen area and comfy bedrooms with ample storage. Set back a mere 300 meters from the beaches of north Lorne, the property sits nestled into bush with an air of seclusion.



The Beach Shack is all about forgetting the frills of the digital world and getting back to nature. See you soon.

Loved the Beach Shack!

A lovely, rustic holiday house in a quiet area surrounded by trees. Lorne is a short drive or 20 minute walk away. The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and we had a great long weekend there.

Away fromthe hustle and bustle

Nice location - walking distance to the beach and easy walk in to town or supwrmarket. Clean house and verandah is wonderful and large so feels like theres plenty of space. Had a great stay here.

Great location to chill out by the fireplace. Loved waking up to the kookaburras and lighting the fireplace, chilling out on the couch and playing Uno with the kids.

really lovely place easy walk to the beach, really cosy and relaxing, fire place was a great after a day on the beach. we loved the local native birds the visited the bird bath on the back decking. would book this place again.

Tranquil and relaxed

The highlight of the beach shack is the beautiful, huge deck. We spent most of our time outside watching and listening to the birds. You can see the water in the distance and you can almost forget that there is anyone around you. The shack was very comfortable and clean and we had no complaints. The only slightly annoying thing was that the shower was quite small and awkwardly shaped but the water pressure was amazing. Will definitely be coming back.

Great place with everything you could need, especially in the kitchen! Really well maintained, awesome outdoor deck under the trees and the perfect place to switch off and unwind. Definitely going to be booking again next time we're down in Lorne.
