Just perfect

Our family of four (two adults, two children 9 and 1 1/2 years old) spent three perfect weeks in this appartment. It is just as it looks in the pictures, very clean, comfortable and equipped with everything you need. It is a very calm place where you can relax, yet the most important tourist centers in the area such as Pisa, Volterra, etc. and the seaside are not far away. A playground is just around the corner. Supermarkets and a large shopping center are nearby as well as a number of fine restaurants. Francesco and Anna are the nicest people and very helpful in every regard. We can only recommed this place and we are planning to spend our next year's vacation there again.

Aufenthalt in einer interessanten Gegend

Um es gleich zu sagen: Die Ferienwohnungen sind nicht in der schönen Villa untergebracht, auch wenn die Fotos dies suggerieren sollten. In dem schönen, großen Haus wohnt der Vermieter, somit kann der große Garten auch nicht genutzt werden. Das Haus mit den FeWos steht gleich neben den Eisentor, gleich hinter dem Tor empfängt einen laut bellend "Lido", ein großer schwarzer Hund. Kommuniziert wird mit dem Vermieter auch am Eisentor, das liegt sicherlich nicht nur an Lido. Das ist nicht unangenehm, aber man sollte sich darauf einstellen. Die Ferienwohnung, wir hatten die obere, war in Ordnung. Eine sehr steile Treppe führt nach oben, also wenig für Leute mit kleinen Kindern geeignet. In ersten Moment ist man von den alten Möbeln überrascht, man kommt sich fast wie im 18. oder 19. Jahrhundert vor. Die Ausstatung ist schlicht, aber in Ordnung. Wir waren nur eine Woche da. Der Vermieter Francesco ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, versucht immer zu helfen. Er ist leider etwas vergesslich, man muss ihm sagen, dass er doch bitte den Hauptgashahn öffnen und den Wasserdruck erhöhen soll. Dann quitscht aber die Pumpe unten. Und Wlan gibt es eigentlich nicht. Also stellt euch bitte nicht drauf ein.

Ausgesprochen toll Lage

Die Unterkunft war sauber und gepflegt. Die Vermieter waren ausgesprochen nett. Die Küchenausstattung wurde auf unseren Hinweis wohlwollend ergänzt. Nicht ganz klar war, ob die Nutzung des parkähnlichen Gartens durchgehend möglich ist. Der Garten ist das große Plus des Angebotes. Natürlich auch die Ruhe der Lage und die gute Möglichkeit von hieraus die kulturellen Angebote der Umgebung wahrzunehmen.
