This hotel was close to my daughter's house in Farmingdale. The property is not fancy but was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and I slept great. There is a small kitchen with a cook top and microwave. There was a full size refrigerator. Breakfast was a granola bar and water.

Nothing ruins a hotel stay more readily than a noisy, rattly window unit. There was no way to quiet it down other than completely turning it off, and the room quickly heated up to uncomfortable summertime temps. On an unrelated note, they offered the most meager 'free breakfast' that I've ever seen.

Arrived on Saturday - checked in and became aware of our surroundings. Decided we couldn't stay there. Front desk gentleman said "I totally understand and will refund you immediately." I assume we were not the first customers who left before they even entered their hotel room. Lobby was full of people in PJs and a few were lining up to implore the "hotel" let them stay longer when their payment didn't go through. Lobby was dirty and the elevator didn't seem to be working.
