Avoid nights when the nightclub is open

Hotel was ok. Good location. But we stayed over a Saturday night and there is a club in the Kaboodle bar attached to the hotel. The music was ridiculously loud even though we were two floors up, and went on until 1am. We didn't get any sleep until it was finished. Wouldn't stay again over a weekend.

Lovely cosy clean room. Great location for exploring Derry. Not a great sleep due to other hotel guests. Last time we stayed we got complimentary welcome drinks voucher. Not offered on this occasion. When i booked through hotels.com i opted to pay on arrival however hotel debited my card full amount. When i sent a query via online chat with hotels.com they advised hotel can do this at times. Only option they gave was to cancel. Why bother have option to pay now or pay at hotel if their gona take full amount regardless. Wasn't impressed

I am lodging a full complaint following our stay and contacting environmental health There was a severe stench of raw sewerage in our room which got worse overnight. The bar had extremely loud music blasting until well after midnight. When my husband complained and ask to change rooms he was treated very poorly by the staff member. My order room was available and no solution offered. He said it was the one night of the week for a party and just put up with it If we had have been there with our young children we couldn't have stayed. The noise levels were despicable. We would never stay here again or recommend to anyone Complained to the duty manager this morning before check out. We

Hotel is in the middle of updating. The new rooms are nice though. The breakfast was ok, staff not so friendly and area around hotel not so nice. We would choose a different hotel to stay in Londonderry next time.
