The Strand was such a find -- I picked it for being reasonably priced (I was there in early October so not peak tourism time) but loved the location and the hotel itself had a comfortable, professional vibe. It seems like an holder hotel that had a good facelift as I found the rooms very nice and the staff was fantastic. I also enjoyed having breakfast included as it was plentiful and easy. I will stay again on my next London trip!

The room was clean. The hotel is making efforts to go green. Whenever you asked for anything they sent someone to your room immediately. The doormen were excellent and helpful. The location was great! All good things to say about this hotel.

Yes, the room was spotless and everywhere was clean. I was disappointed that my £25 deposit, which was taken on checking-in, was not returned on checking-out. It has still not been returned two days later.
