Unfortunately we had issues checking in, which made us late for our dinner reservation. I don’t feel it was handled particularly well, as it took 3 people to eventually find us a room. We booked my daughter in earlier, with no problems, in fact they let her have her room early, which was great, & we were told we would be on the same floor 7 when we check in later (no deluxe king rooms available at that time) iit was 6.45 by the time we returned, to be told we could have a room on the 1st floor or wait 40 minutes for another room, as they were still cleaning, we thought this was poor.
Having booked back in January, to be told that was irrelevant, we didn’t feel that was the level of service we expected from The Cumberland (previously The Hard Rock Hotel)
The gentleman who finally found us a room, after 40 minutes at the desk, did actually add on breakfast, as a gesture of good will

On the positive side, we did have lovely cocktails at the bar, & the room was nice & clean
