-Staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean. -Pillows were terrible (all fluff no support) -Our room was right by the door to the floor, so we were woken up constantly by other guests slamming the door :( -Being on floor 1, there was a party on until 1am where we overlooked and the window was small but didn’t protect much from outside noise. -Boiling room, no way to change the air con, believe it’s done on outside temp?

Sluggish drain in bathroom sink. Couldn't take a shower without water getting all over the floor outside. Did not replace empty tissue box when cleaning the room. Great location. Many wonderful shops and restaurants in the neighborhood within walking distance. Around the corner from a Tube stop. Breakfast was not very good at all. And unfortunately, they serve the exact same thing every day.

I don't know why a beautiful hotel like that doesn't have intercom phones. Communication is done through WhatsApp only. That shouldn't be the only option of reaching the front desk from the room.The staff are not friendly as hospitality staff

Hotel was good, staff very polite. Only issue was the noise in the evenings (Friday and Saturday) from the local bars and cafes that stayed open until midnight. Modern rooms but some of the facilities are showing wear and tear. Shower control buttons stick and floor tiles peeling in some areas.

This is a nice, seemingly modern hotel, and the staff were friendly. We stayed for five nights. It is our fault for not checking the location of this hotel before we came. It is located in Southgate, which (ironically) is on the north side of London. There is easy access to a subway by five minute walk. Unfortunately the subway from Southgate to downtown London takes more than 30 minutes. This is probably the reason for the somewhat lower price point than other London hotels. The air conditioner in our room did not work, and we notified the hotel staff as soon as we knew it. In fairness, they did offer to let us change rooms, but we had so much baggage and were so spread out in the room, we did not want to change. They said they would get it fixed the next day. They did not, nor did they ever fix it until checkout day. It was nice to have some AC on moveout day, but it would’ve been a lot nicer to have it while we were staying there. As compensation, the attendant offered me a free bottled drink. There was no separator between the shower and the rest of the bathroom, so water went everywhere. There were not enough places to hang towels. Gladly, we did not prepay 10£ each for that breakfast every day. The same continental breakfast was offered each morning. Although diverse, it was mostly ultraprocessed foods with a few pieces of fresh fruit. We concluded that the management was sparing every pence at the expense of customer satisfaction.

Great hotel with comfortable and modern room. The room was a little on the small side but was fine for me as a solo traveller. I've stayed here a number of times now and always had a good stay although breakfast is a little disappointing as there aren't the normal coked items available. There are plenty of places nearby where you can get a decent breakfast though.
