GREAT location…. Shops, eateries, and the tube just steps away but then…. You have the down side. We booked a deluxe room, and it was in poor condition. No AC, even with the windows open it was hot. Only a small table top circular fan provided for cooling. The mattress on the bed was VERY HARD…. Almost like lying on a sheet of plywood. Only two outlets for powering medical devices and other electronics. It’s pretty bad when you’re in the shower and you have to ask your traveling partner, to take the key out of the light switch and reset the water flow so you can finish your shower. Crazy, yes. When we spoke to the managerand described what was going on with the water, she kindly told us “ that’s not the way the water works” but in reality that is how it works. Really? The refrigerator was so cold that it froze everything! No way to turn the temp down just a bit. Now for the continental breakfast, Don’t expect much…. You’ll have juice, two kinds of toast with jam and your choice of 2-3 different cereals and milk. Oh you want eggs or and English breakfast???? That is extra. They did offer on request store bought croissants but they were not even warmed. So sad. This hotel could have a lot to offer especially with the charming patio and grass area in the back. With a bit more loving TLC this could be an awesome location. Currently feels more like a hostil than hotel. On a bright note we did find an awesome Italian made from scratch items just around the corner…

The included breakfast was not very exciting. Also it turned out that early departure though promised did not give anything to bring along. Not even the water was turned on for tea in spite of the promise made the evening before. A very nice and helpful gentlemen who we believe is the owner showed up almost instantly when we needed help to open a window for fresh air. But I will still recomend the place to friends.

Hotel price for hostel conditions.

After a long day of travel, I was greeted with a locked door and a sign informing me that they’ll be back in 5 minutes. The bathroom was woefully outdated with barely operational faucets. I didn’t risk taken a shower. The flush on the toilet was barely operational too. The overall condition is akin to a hostel. GREAT location though.

Not a good experience

The room was okay and close to the tube. The bed was too small for two adults and extremely bad. The shower was also bad. Almost no water. The toilet couldn’t flush. The breakfast was not a good experience. We went out the hole day and when we returned in the afternoon the room wasn’t cleaned. So… We wouldn’t choose this hotel again.

Toilet would not flash, water dripping from zink all the time, dirty carpets, you could hear everything from your neighbor, extremely warm in room. The bathroom was really old. We found a mousse hole in the room. Bar and restaurant was closed all through out our stay.

The rooms are very dirty. I had to ask for an extra towel so I can clean the dust from bed frames and furnitures (travelling with a child having a breathing condition). The bathroom was very dirty too, but the staff didn’t want to provide me with the cleaning supplies and I had to wait till next day for the cleaning staff to clean the bathtub. They came and made only our beds, bathroom remained dirty. The staff offered me another room which was even in worst condition. Broken toilet seat and sink full of rust! Even though they are having international tourists, they do not offer adapters for electric plugs or USB plugs to charge the phone's. They sell them for 7£ at the reception, or you can get one at 5£ on the corner store. There were only 2 plugs in our room. So we had to unplug the tv to charge phones. Ridiculous in 2025!

Fantastic value. I stay at a lot of inexpensive hotels, and they vary widely in quality. This one is really great. While the place is small, it is comfortable and clean, and you can tell the owners are doing all they can to make it a terrific place to stay. There are lots of nice, little touches that show that they care. It's one block from the Earl's Court tube stop, which gets you into central London in 20 minutes. My only criticism is that the free version of the breakfast is really bare-bones - bread for toast, cereal, and fruit juice - and only instant coffee. But you can pay a small surcharge for eggs, and even a full English breakfast.

This isn't the Ritz... and it isn't Ritz prices, either. The staff were EXCELLENT. Made the stay pleasant. There was a glitch with my room, but the staff made it go away. Lovely garden behind the hotel for relaxation, etc. Nice lounge area for waiting. Trouble taken to make the place look nice.
