Room was clean but "cosy", barely enough space for 2 people to walk around each other. Bathroom had a musty ordor bc the fan was non-functional. Location was great, close to Paddington easy to get to other sights, lots of food options nearby and very walkable to Hyde park. Just a security concern of how easy it was to access the hotel from many entrances without anyone noticing. Perhaps a card access for the elevator? Or eliminate the back access via the other hotel and restaurant?

Friendly and attentive staff. First floor room with small window facing a wall, small, warm, tiny unvented bathroom but a nice big bug to keep you company, but don’t worry there is a Nespresso machine to give you coffee in the morning – or wait that doesn’t work either. not their fault, but of course they complete the experience. There were screaming nosey kids upstairs jumping off the bed and landing on our ceiling.

Room was TINY- I have seen bigger small rooms on cruise ships. Air conditioning did not work our entire 6 night stay. Complained multiple times to the front desk and nothing was done. Apparently the HVAC crew just decided their own hours and couldn’t be bothered? Only on my checkout, when I complained for a 4th time or more, was I even offered a fan. They never mentioned it any other time and I complained at least 3 times.

Stayed here as a result of a failed booking elsewhere. Expected somewhat luxury at 500AUD a night and got a mouldy shower. Mentioned it to reception and got food vouchers. What I would have preferred was a clean bathroom. Overall for the price? Not happy.

Nice place to stay

Great location near Paddington Station—super convenient for getting around. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We booked a standard king room, which was fine for what we needed. Just a heads-up: rooms are smaller than what you might expect if you're used to U.S. hotels, but it worked well for our three-night stay. Daily housekeeping was consistent, and the fridge was always restocked. Overall, a great experience. We’d definitely stay here again.
