The Kimpton Fitzroy was lovely, but it was the staff that made it so lovely. From Andrew and Jack, the doormen, to the lovely Naseera, Fredo, Malichi, Monica, Alban, and so many others. The food in the brassiere was delicious, and some of the best I've eaten. Loved it and all the kindness I was shown. Hope to get back there.

I booked two rooms for 2 days each. Paid for both rooms in full through Expedia months prior. The hotel stay was perfect as well as the staff. When I returned home I noticed the hotel charged me 1,760 for vat and hotel taxes. On Friday I called the hotel to straighten out the charges, and they said they would get back to me later that day. No calls were returned and the charges have not been reversed.

A very pleasant stay overall. The hotel is stylish, clean, and well maintained, with staff who were consistently helpful and welcoming. Our room was on the smaller side, but we knew this in advance and found it comfortable. The location was excellent—just steps from the Piccadilly line, which made it easy to explore London without needing a car. Perfect for seeing the major sights while still having a comfortable base to return to.

The Queen room we stayed in was small, very little storage, space between bed and bathroom door was 12 inches, on the first floor with limited natural light, a little disappointing considering the price paid!

This is a great hotel. Very close to Russell park tube station and walking distance to British museum and great dining options. The hotel itself has nice, well decorated rooms that are larger than average. I would recommend it.
