Unfortunately the hotel has lots of construction going on and we got put on floor with active construction in older rooms. We’d have to walk by handling light fixtures and found a razor blade on floor one evening. Staff was great. Breakfast is great. I’m sure once remodeling is all complete it will be a 4 or 5 star experience.

Do not stay here, especially if you are a solo female traveler. The pictures posted are not accurate unless they are using a special lens, and it's important to note that the hallways are not pictured. Due to my flight, I checked in late at night on 22 August. The man at the front desk was nice. The lobby was okay. As soon as I stepped onto the floor of my room, I felt scared and uneasy. It's old, not cared for, and it feels as though someone is about to pop out and attack you at any moment. Women know this feeling. The room was less than okay. There were stains on the carpet, and I even felt unsafe in the room. I FaceTimed my fiancé back home. He did not find it acceptable. He called the front desk and merged me onto the call. He asked if I could check out early the next day and get a refund. Front desk put us on hold as he asked his manager. His manager agreed to the refund. I checked out the next day. Then I got an email from Expedia that said the hotel denied the refund. I have been calling and emailing the hotel ever since. When I call, they say who I need to speak to is not available. They tell me to email. I do. No one responds to the emails. Expedia has been horrible, too. They keep saying the hotel either isn't answering them or won't give the refund. So either the hotel isn't responding to Expedia either, or they are going back on their word to refund my 2nd and 3rd nights. Expedia has been a mess, too.

I highly recommend this hotel, especially for fellow Americans who are used to bigger rooms and bigger beds. This hotel seemed fairly new, clean and everything was perfect. The prices could not be beat and they are within walking distance of 3 major train stations and the tube.

Room was okay, and staff were courteous. But room was very noisy from streets. Propery management does not take any actions for those louitering in front of the hotel late night. Room had a signage to close an air vent on the window - which was placed too high to reach without ladder.

Wonderful stay and the staff was very accommodating when requesting a new room due to the sofa bed being unacceptable due to the springs being felt and with no support. I think the hotel needs to replace the bad ones ASAP as it is unacceptable for a 3rd person to have to sleep on very thin, unsupported spring mattress. Especially since we book for a weeks stay. But like I said, the staff was very accommodating meeting our request to switch rooms. Breakfast was good.
