paid for an upgraded room, which had a horrible dirty ripped chair in the room. Asked reception if it could be removed or replaced, was told it would be asap. it was not moved. Asked reception again, no new chair. Tried the online chat, was told it would be replaced that day, it was not. Complained to reception and the supervisor didn't even bother to come out to see me, but told the receptionist we would be refunded 33% via expedia, we have not been refunded. Terrible state of affairs and disappointing. Room in the west wing was a 10 minute hike from reception. This hotel is too big for them to manage. No water in room on 1st night, 2 cans appeared the 2nd night? black hairs in bath tub, broken shower head fixed with yellow tape stuff - definitely not Hilton standards. Staff mostly rude and dismissive, nobody says good morning? I would happily speak to the manager if they could be bothered to speak to me.
