Haus Uhlenbusch is idyllically situated in Lohme (in the Hagen district), right in the heart of Jasmund National Park with its expansive beech forests, chalk cliffs, and the famous Königsstuhl—one of the landmarks of the island of Rügen. Our house borders directly on the Jasmund National Park and the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site “Ancient Beech Forests of Germany.” Here you’ll find yourself in one of Germany’s most beautiful hiking regions, which once inspired Caspar David Friedrich. Enjoy long bike rides along country roads to the beach at Glowe or through the beech forest to Sassnitz. Play a round of golf at the nearby course at Ranzow Castle.
