The price equals a nice mid-range hotel in Aarhus or Copenhagen, so this being in the countryside with generally lower prices we expected something at least at that level. However, we were a bit disappointed. Very confusing check-in. The reception was closed even though it wasn’t even 20.00. Quite difficult to get an iron we had been promised by e-mail beforehand. It should be in the (closed) reception. Eventually a couple of polite but confused young staff from an onsite restaurant helped us. Most staff seemed to be teenagers or at least quite young. The hotel was large but without any atmosphere. The room was a nice size but very basic. Not even a kettle and some tea. No effort to make it cozy. Not what you would expect for this price. Continental breakfast in a charmless restaurant. Had the room been e.g. 500 DKK cheaper there would have been a better match between price and quality/service.

This hotel reminded me of being in an elderly home

This hotel reminded me of being in an elderly home! The bed was terrible — hard and squeaky — and the pillow was even worse: flat, lumpy, and impossible to get comfortable with. There was a bad smell coming from the bathroom that lingered in the entire room. Everything felt unclean, and the general level of hygiene was simply not acceptable. The service was just as disappointing: cold, uninterested, and unwelcoming. No effort was made to make guests feel seen or cared for. Breakfast? A complete letdown. Poor selection, low quality — and not even a decent cup of coffee. The dining area was packed with grumpy, sour-faced elderly people, and no one — staff or guests — seemed to be enjoying themselves. Not a single smile in sight. The whole place felt tired, sad, and neglected. Definitely not somewhere I’d ever return to or recommend.

Vi har booket 3 værelser i samme reservation, og bliver fordelt over hele hotellet (Værelser: 301, 311, 409). Værelse 311 havde en gennemtrængende stank af klor, så det var nødvendigt med længere udluftning, hvilket naturligvis medfører et koldt værelse. Møblement på værelserne 3xx er for spartansk, der mangler aflægningsplade - eller blot en knagerække. Det var ikke muligt at få aftensmad til en vegetar.

seng ok - bruseforhæng irriterende - lav dog en kabine - spiste 1 gang aftensmad - kalkun med kartofler - det bedste jeg kan sige er at jeg blev mæt - 250 DKK for den tallerken var IKKE value for money. desværre ikke et charmerende hotel på nogen måde. Morgenmad åbner først kl 7 og de kan ikke pakke en morgenpose til dem der skal ud af døren før - dog var der en ung mand der undskyldte og kom med en bakke med diverse brød og pålæg til 1. morgen, men derefter ingen morgenmad - ikke tilfredsstillende.

Da vi ankom var der ingen varme på i værelset, døren til værelset ved siden af var ikke låst og det kunne vi ikke gøre fra vores værelse. Pigen i receptionen fik låst døren fra det andet værelse. Hun oplyste at varmen kunne tage noget tid, da vi kom retur ca 7 timer senere var værelset stadig koldt, ingen varme overhovedet, dog varm vand. Den ene seng havde set bedre dage, madrassen var total "døv" . Morgenmaden var ok, ikke noget fancy, men der var ok udvalg. Ikke et sted til mange overnatninger, vi havde kun en enkelt pga en fest i nærheden.

Værelset var pænt og rent, men vi kunne godt have brugt en ekstra hovedpude da de to som fandtes var ret slidte og flade. Toiletpapir holderen var faldet halvvejs ud af væggen hvilket gjorde det umuligt at få wc papiret til at sidde fast på selve holderen.

Buffet meget beskidt. Ulækkert at i er gået fra marmelade m.m i enkelt styk til store fælles skåle. Og der var rigtig fedtet alle steder så der trængte til at blive tørret af i spiseområdet så vi ikke alle deler hinandens fedt og bakterier.

Det var det mest ringe ophold, vi længe har oplevet. F.eks. havde vi booket hotellet pga. spaen. Men både den og poolen var iskold. Morgenmaden var ekstremt kedelig i udvalget. Det var lige før at vi hellere ville springe den over. Vi havde godt nok fået suiten - men det virkede mest som om, det var en gammel personalestue. Hvad er meningen med at have et tekøkken, hvis man alligevel ikke må have egen mad og drikke på værelset. Desuden var der intet i skabene i køkkenet. Soveværelset virkede som et gammelt lagerrum, hvor man havde smidt tilfældige møbler ind og 2 lamper. Spaen i badeværelset var hamrende utæt. Desuden lignede det, at der var skimmelsvamp bag toilettet. Hele suiten virkede ufærdig og hurtig lavet. Det eneste positive ved opholdet var aftensmaden, som var ganske velsmagende. Men det virkede som om, tjenerne ville have en hurtigt ud, fordi lige så snart man var færdig med sin ret, blev den hentet. Vi endte med at spise en 3 retters menu på 1 time!!! Bare til info lægger vi også denne anmeldelse op på Trust Pilot.
