This was a great lodge! I booked this lodge for the many table games and plenty of space. My buddies and I liked being close to many of the popular hiking trails.

The lodge was great for our group of 4 adults and 7 kids; we all had plenty of room to spread out. I would give this place a higher rating for a non-winter stay. The game room that the kids were really looking forward to was just too cold in the winter to hang out in and play, since it is a garage with no heat. The small amount of time the kids played down there, they had coats and hats on, which wasn't ideal. We still had plenty to do in the upper level to keep everyone entertained. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, everyone enjoyed the trails and the proximity to them.

We all had a great time. Very clean and comfortable house. The game room and pub downstairs was so fun for everyone to hang out or spreadout. The kitchen had plenty of equipment, pans, and utensils. 2 Coffee pots came in handy with the large group. And we have to mention Peqches!!! What a sweet heart!!!

Check-in was great. We arrived about an hour ahead of time but the cleaning person let us unload our car and then gave us directions so we could go grocery shopping. The home is clean and very roomy. There are a few items that need attention but we managed for our 4 nights. The biggest issue was all the mattresses need to be replaced. The foam toppers just do not do the trick. Someone mentioned the cookware needs to be gone through because there are some items that have seen better days. The furniture is showing its wear. I know that you can’t count on all renters respecting your property but for those of us that do it was a little disappointing. Having three refrigerators really does come in handy with a large group. It is conveniently located to Hocking Hills and the Lake. The pond was nice and the kids had a great time fishing. There are a lot of great amenities to this property and if you stay you will enjoy. We had a great family time.

Family vacation for 15

Our stay was great ! The lodge was perfect for our family of 15 , the bedrooms were spaced out great for our under 2s to be able to nap and go to bed early and then our older kids to go later. Plenty of space for the adults to stay up and play cards or pool or just visit and hang out . The lodge was plenty stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags . It was super close to plenty of things to do, we went to Hocking Hills state park, Conkle’s hallow and the butterfly conservatory and we checked out old man’s cave general store ice cream.

Great hangs in Rockbridge

Our stay was wonderful. There were so many activities on and around the property and a diverse amount of gathering spaces. Everyone could be together or there could be many groups doing their own thing and there was room for it all. On top of a great weekend a member of my group left something and the host was super accommodating and mailed it back to them. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in the area I would highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was more than a rental house. We hiked Conkle’s Ridge Trail before going to the house. Very impressed with the house. The kitchen was very equipped. There was nothing that we would have dreamed of that we needed. The house offered a hot tub, fireplace/stoves, ping pong table, pool table, foosball table, air hockey, and basketball game. More than enough room. Communication was excellent with the owner. We were very impressed with our stay. We would stay here again for sure it was exceptional !!!!

Nice, big house. Accommodated our family nicely. Lots of games and activities. Host was always quick to reply before and during stay. Only issue is the mildew smell throughout the house. The garage/game room is not slanted away from the house so water from the rain gets in and it was muggy outside so there is a mildew smell throughout the house (including the primary bedroom), even with the fan that was in the space. Beds have super thick memory foam and you sink down deep.

Great for family gathering

My husband and I stayed here with two of our grown children and their families—6 adults and 4 kids in all. The house had plenty of space for gathering everyone together and for hanging out in smaller groups. It was also a good base for exploring Hocking Hills.

Great Location Great House

Our family gathered at the Harvest Moon Lodge for our annual get together. 11 people ages 14-70 were comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed all of the amenities that this house has to offer. While there were a few quirky things that popped up during our stay they were attended to. It was an amazing location. Right in the middle of everything and yet in the middle of nowhere all at the same time. The fishing at the pond was super fun and a table large enough for the whole family to eat and play games were definitely highlights!

Family getaway

Nice house with one complaint. The hot tub was very cloudy and had a greenish tint when we arrived. There were chemicals there to clean it up, but we lost a day of use. There is an awesome trail on the property, but a permit is required. Make sure you apply at least 2 weeks prior for the hocking hills saltpetre trail ( it's free to get a permit). There is campfire wood available for purchase on the property ( a nice touch, although the previous renters had left us enough). Games galore, and a well furnished kitchen.
