Weekend away

My fiancé and I stayed for a weekend away from the craziness of our lives and loved this property. It’s very secluded and private. The Nook was soo cute and quaint. Communication with owner was fabulous. Always a quick response to any questions. We will definitely be staying again in the future.

Weekend getaway

Our stay was amazing! It was my fiance and our dog. The only downside to the stay was the hot tubs breaker was flipped so we had to wait all evening for the water to get from 72 to a comfortable 88. I also wouldn't recommend a longer stay due to not having a washer or dryer unit. Besides that, we plan to return to the same unit later this year!!

Nice secluded getaway

Nice amenities. Secluded in the woods, which is fun. Nice big hottub and nice grill and firepit. Beautiful interior with big windows to enjoy the surroundings. Only downsides were that the drive to the house was a challenge up a steep gravel road (try not to do it in a car), and the water had an intense egg smell, so be careful if you are sensitive to smells.

First of all, Rachel was phenomenal to deal with! Excellent communication. Helped us with our payment arrangement and even gave us tips on a “ off the grid” waterfall we got to see! Loved the tiny home experience! Our only suggestions would be for a few things: 1. The hot tub cover NEEDS to be replaced and you should have a hot tub cover lift. It was difficult for us to even lift it. The cover is in bad shape 2. We understand well water, what others have said about the water smelling super strong of sulfur, ( aka- rotten eggs) is correct. Again, not a criticism, just something that should be noted 3. As we were warned, the hills getting up to the home were very steep and because of bad rains and flooding, the road is dirt/rock and had washed some of the road out, made it difficult to get up and down. If you have AWD or 4Wheel drive, definitely consider taking that. Again, we were warned ahead of time, so not a complaint. The overall experience was fantastic and we definitely would do it again ! Beautiful area and close to all we wanted to see! We cooked in the tiny home a couple times and the rest we had great food at surrounding restaurants! Very cool tiny house! They also share the land with a single and double stacked container homes. May check those out next!
