The outside looks really nice, and the lobby and downstairs rooms are great. The rooms themselves are a little dated, with the carpet and paint bubbling and chipping on the walls. But, overall I enjoyed the stay, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. I really liked how everything was made in West Virginia, since it's a state park. And the breakfast was really good, too!

My first time staying for a family reunion. Check-in was very simple and the staff was very friendly. Wasn't sure how to get to my room, so a staff member escorted me to my room on the 3rd floor. Super friendly with a nice smile! My room was very clean. The Hotel was upgrading the HVAC, but I had no issues. The Lodge grounds were beautiful. Very clean. The views were wonderful! I would definitely stay here again and have already booked my room for next May! My relatives have enjoyed staying here over the years. I wish I would have considered staying here sooner. Great Job!
