Charming peaceful spot for a lovely stay

My daughter and I absolutely loved every minute of our stay at Lochead Chalet. It's in a wonderful spot right on the loch side, and oh my it is so very peaceful! The chalet itself was a perfect size for we two adults and our little dogs and we found it very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. Karlina in the Ellary estate office was lovely too. A beautiful location for a holiday and a charming place to stay - highly recommended.

STEER WELL CLEAR. IGNORE THEIR BLURB. Read this BEFORE booking Should you want nothing in return for the astounding view book this. The view is the ONLY thing this place has to offer and they trade everything on this fact. However if you expect a modicum of comfort, reasonable host and expected basics that would be FREE everywhere else PLEASE PLEASE PASS THIS BY. DON'T LET THEM GET AWAY WITH THIS. OK. SO EXPECT TO PAY FOR ELECTRICITY- I'M NOT JOKING.... THE FRIDGE WASN'T LEFT ON AND YOU DON'T GET A WELCOME LETTER YOU GET A INVOICE FOR YOU TO GIVE THE METER READING AS YOU LEAVE. TOILET ROLLS SOAP WERE NOT LEFT TOWELS WIFI - RENNT THE ROUTER FOR £3 THEN PAY FOR A PACKAGE. I STAY AWAY FROM HOME FOR BOTH WORK AND PLEASURE AND NEVER EVER HAD THIS AT ALL. PAYING FOR ELECTRICITY???? TOWELS???? WIFI???? NO TOILET ROLL???? NO SOAP???? UNFORTUNATELY THESE ARE THE TYPE OF HOST THAT GIVE THE SCOTS A BAD NAME. THE PLACE HAS A REALLY HORRIBLE BITTY AND GROOTY FEEL TO IT EVERYTHING FEELS STICKY THROUGH LACK OF CARE - NOT THAT IT WASN'T CLEAN. IT WAS. JUST HORRIBLE TO TOUCH AND SIT - SIT WELL THAT'S A LAUGH THE SETTEE HAS FEW SPRINGS LEFT THE CHAIRS HAVE STUFFING COMING OUT. THE SHOWER CUPBOARD - WELL DON'T EXPECT TO STAND IN AND BE ABLE TO CLOSE THE DOOR AND SHOWER IN COMFORT. ON THE WHOLE DON'T BOTHER. HONESTLY. WE WERE BOOKED FOR 3 NIGHTS. WE LEFT 1ST THING ABD FOUND ELSEWHERE. DON'T LET THEM RIP YOU OFF THE SAME WAY WE WERE. STEER WELL CLEAR
