We stayed there for a weekend- room was very clean, breakfast delicious and the surroundings quiet. Close to Horseshoe resort and to Marble Falls Parks makes this B&B a desired location- we will be back

Great place for a quick relaxing weekend getaway. Staff was friendly and helpful. Included breakfast was a great deal.
I was in town for the Bronco Off-Rodeo, which was only 7 miles from The Guesthouse. The location also made it easy to access the facilities in Kingsland. The room was exceptional and welcoming. The bed was comfortable, and the Pure products in the bathroom smelled wonderful, but not overwhelming. Thank you for a fantastic c stay

Very clean & well appointed . The restaurant is great with friendly staff. The only reason this wasn’t five stars is that the grounds could use some attention/ upgrades.
The room was great. Nicely decorated. The restaurant/bar was not open during our stay. I wish that had been better communicated. I picked the place because of the breakfast option. It was situated between Llano and Kingsland, so dining options were nearby.
Loved the room. Nice size, very comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom with big walk-in shower. Possible down side is that rooms are exterior up stairs. The restaurant and bar serves really good food but is only open from 8-3 Thursday thru Sunday. Bryan the lodge manager is a great guy and gave us outstanding service.
Property is family owned and family run, met the owner, very nice people, Room was clean and beautifully decorated, Complimentary breakfast and the service was great. property is still under development and being landscaped, Parking lot is not paved so walking in the mud after rainy night was the only inconvenience, overall we enjoyed our one night getaway stay and I highly recommend it.
Few dirt stains on the white comforter and no respose to a small question abt the property but really confortable bed and pillows. Quiet, convenient and overall really nice stay in a really nice area.
We had a wonderful stay! They are a very new establishment with their growing pains. So with that in mind, you will have a very comfortable stay with a wonderful breakfast in a beautiful room. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful & relaxing environment. The restaurant/bar was closed Sat when we arrived & we were hoping to hang out there. The actual room itself was clean & the view from the room was amazing. Not allot of options in the area for dining. The staff was friendly & kind
This was probably the cleanest place I’ve stayed at. The room appeared to be newly renovated and beautiful. Check in was simple. The breakfast was exactly to our liking and even brought it to our room one morning because we had planned activities nearby at an early hour. So kind to fix our breakfast before hours. I also liked that they sent a menu prior to our visit so they could make sure they had everything they needed for our breakfast. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Llano Texas.
My arrival after dark was difficult. I could not see the way. Very poorly lit. Parking area not clear. Walking hard. Slippery footing. Hilly gravel. All rooms were upstairs. Hard to locate room.
Excellent dining. Full menu choices. Beautiful view. 5 Stars!

Poor internet connectivity,
No TV if you don't have streaming service.
Impossible to talk live with anyone about issues. This could have been because it was Thanksgiving weekend, but neither phone number or message was answered.
Broken coffee maker that we couldn't get fixed because it’s impossible to talk live with anyone about issues.
Too much street noise from the nearby highway.
Too much noise from neighboring rooms, you can hear your neighbors TV quite clearly.
The grounds are not as quaint as the pictures imply.
I stayed at the Lonely Oak with my two teenage children. I had a few questions before my arrival, and the staff were quick to respond and very helpful. The space is beautifully decorated, and in a very quiet part of the countryside. It is close enough to Llano if we needed something, but far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. We actually stayed there the night before the solar eclipse, and totality was to occur at 1:37pm the next day. I was trying to figure out what to do between checkout and the eclipse, but the staff reached out to us the day before to let us know they are offering a late check out so we had a good place to watch totality. We deeply appreciated this because we got to watch the eclipse in the countryside without any crowds. Breakfast in the restaurant was delicious. Overall, we had an incredible stay. I highly recommend Lonely Oak for your next trip!
