This is NOT a 4 star boutique hotel. It lacks the maintenance and minimum standards to be a 4 star hotel. The hotel is humid and smells like mold. Our room had a nice amount of spiders and flies in it. We were given a plastic Flyswatter to kill them. There’s no ACs in the rooms, which means even if the air cools down to 26C your room will be very humid. The bathroom and toiletries were very nice, the bed was comfortable. The hotel claims to have working space in the rooms, which is not the case. There was a decorative desk - very small - with the minibar under it. We had to ask for a chair, which we got, but it also meant not being able to move around the bed. The breakfast is OK, also not 4star standards but orange juice was fresh and there were scrambled eggs, almond milk and gluten free bread. Coffee machine from Nescafe will make your coffee with instant coffee. The staff was VERY FRIENDLY though. They really tried to help and brought a dehumidifier into the room for 3 hours. I would have enjoyed staying there if I hadn’t had had the feeling of having been ripped off. Paying more than 300 a night in a hotel in a small village in Spain, that claims to be boutique and displays 4 stars felt like a scam. We asked for an iron and ironing board as we were attending a wedding and they had none. Not in the room, nor anywhere else. Also, the hotel is directly on the motorway. Most windows have no mosquito net. Which, if one has to sleep with open windows means noise and bugs.
