The location is brilliant and very easy to park and leave the car. The hotel requires a little updating in the rooms but for what we paid we were happy. The breakfast is delicious and an unexpected bonus!

The room was clean. I found the concept of having shower gel in sachet a bit old fashioned and it cant be good for the environment. The double room we had was smallish and the bathroom was snug. I appreciate that there is very little that can be done in that room. There is a lift in the property which was great. The location couldnt be faulted. Very convinient. Parking wasn't an issue as we were out during the day and didn't t have to pay in front of the hotel. I would not recommend parking at the hotel car park of u have a large car. The turning is tight and could easily be scratched. Breakfast was plenty. Somehow, it didnt quite feel comfortable. Staff were ok but didn't go beyond. I felt there were so many instructions all over the hotel on what u can and can't do. If you are looking for a great location this is it. It is reasonable for location and what you get...

Room was ok nice and clean.bed made every day we was there.breakfast was nice and hot first day as hotel was quiet but after that it was just warm. Took dog with us and was put on top floor furthest away from the exit which was a bit of a downer. Apart from that it is a nice hotel and located on the front.

The room was very clean and the water was a nice touch. It was a triple room so we were disappointed that there were only two waters and two lots of towels. It was a room warm with a fan in the cupboard. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The thing that really stopped us from sleeping was the light switches. All of the light switches are touch controlled and are constantly lit up blue. You can't charge anything up overnight because the plug socket lights up blue when switched on. The breakfast is nice buffet style with ample hot and cold choices. It does feel a bit unkept when you park and enter behind the hotel with the old cigarette butts

This is excellent value for money with a generous help yourself buffet breakfast and a perfectly serviceable room with all you need. The shared areas let the side down with some tatty finishes, a scruffy entrance from a crammed car park and poor stair carpets and paint work. Good location right on the front by the bandstand. Just needs a bit of a spruce up to get 5 stars. Help with bags up steps would be good too.
