Me and my 4 year old daughter stayed for 3 nights. We booked a cosy double room (218) it was at the side of the building and we had a lovely side sea view which we didn't expect 😀. Room was small but very comfortable, room was very clean with lovely fresh white bedding and towels. Bathroom a little dated but for the price we paid it was great. I ended up leaving my daughters dvd charger, and a cases full of dvds in the room (my own fault 🙃) staff where great packaging it up for me ready for royal mail to pick it up. Thanks for everything we would definitely stay again.

Despite very helpful staff it does not detract from the terrible state of this hotel. I was moved 3 times - first because of lack of heating and general poor state of the room and stinking pillows then because of a severe water leak from the ceiling above which could have damaged all of my luggage had I not been in the room - the state and heating situation was not much of an improvement on the first room. The final room was a total contrast but by this point it was too late and had I not been staying for work purposes I would have moved to another hotel. Breakfast was also pretty poor. The general areas were also in need of severe update or cleaning. I cannot see how some of the top reviews on here can be legitimate in light of what I experienced. Apart from the staff trying to remedy the situation and a couple being very helpful it really was an unacceptable experience.

Cannot complain about the staff but the resources they have at their disposal are limited The lower part of the hotel is fine but go further up and the rooms seem a bit unloved. Radiator in our room didn’t work so we tried to ‘bleed’it Didn’t work so we were given a very inadequate small space heater. Nice breeze from the window frames didn’t help😀so the room was cold. As I said, the staff are good and helpful but all in all, disappointing

I had a lovely spacious corner room with sea views. The bed and pillows were so comfortable i had the best nights sleep id had in a while. The staff were so friendly and always on hand if you needed them. Great location on the sea front. I would stay again.
