Solo traveller - spent one night before meeting friends - location is perfect, very charming, reception staff very helpful, location is perfect - and the breakfast also very good ( + fantastic restaurant in front of the hotel - simple and surprising with friendly staff) - I recommend if you like small charming hotels !

The hotel is very well located…very close to the Castle and to many restaurants. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The lobby and the room have a very nice decoration. Breakfast was very good with a good variety of food. There is street parking close by (not expensive for European standards). Definitely a small hotel worth of staying in.

The Allegro is in Old Town Ljubliana and within walking distance of most sights. The staff is kind, multi lingual and knows their city! We loved our room on the courtyard. We enjoyed the breakfasts too. My wife's favorite hotel on this trip!

The hotel was beautiful, easy to access by taxi drop off, close to the historic district and within walking distance to many fantastic restaurants and shops. The staff were inviting and helpful, giving suggestions for routes, dining and ways to experience the city without having to fight many of the crowds. 10/10 would stay here again.

Our family room was in the attic. If you are tall, you will bump your head in the sleeping areas. Staff is wonderful, warm, welcoming. Breakfast is limited, typical pension fare with no daily variation - cold cuts, bread, cheese etc and eggs to order. There is a nearby farmers market with fresh fruit, local honey for a more local flavor which would be wonderful if incorporated.

We stayed for three nights in a twin room and had a very pleasant experience. The location in Ljubljana’s Old Town was excellent, with everything within easy walking distance. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable, with effective air conditioning. It felt slightly worn in places, but nothing that affected our stay. The bathroom worked well, and the continental breakfast was perfectly fine, although fairly standard. The highlight was the staff, who were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They even helped us organise a day trip at very short notice, which we really appreciated. Overall, Allegro Hotel offered good value for money, and we would happily stay here again.

We found a bug in my sons bed and hairs on the sheets. We left the hotel and had to find accommodations closer to the airport as everything else was fully booked Although the staff were apologetic and took the steps required to refund our money, I would not recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel in the heart of old Ljubjana. Ask for room #1. Very quiet, well appointed and comfortable. The front desk staff were extremely helpful. There are no elevators but our room was on the ground floor. You are steps away from all the bars and restaurants along the river. They serve a very nice breakfast. We would definitely recommend and we would stay again. I
