This listing says that this condo has air-conditioning. However, there is NO air-conditioning in the bedrooms! There is a wall-mounted AC unit at the top of the stairs--in between the bedrooms. Due to physics, the cold air from the AC unit goes right down the stairs. It was 94 in Livingston my last night at this property, and it was way too hot in the bedrooms to sleep. You could open the windows to let in cooler air from outdoors--as long as the long, persistent, repetitive train whistles all night don't bother you or the loud traffic on the adjacent busy street, which ends at midnight and restarts at 5 a.m.After I checked out, the temperature in Livingston rose to 104 degrees. I cannot imagine trying to sleep on the second floor with no AC. Also, when I arrived at this condo, both the towel rack and the towel hook in the bathroom were not attached. I texted the owner and he replied, "Strange." No attempt was made to fix the issues. I was able to reattach the towel hook with a nail file but was very surprised by the owner's non-response to a problem. If this condo had AC in the bedrooms, I'd give it 5 stars. (If you are booking for winter, there are heaters in every room.)
