we were upgraded to a bigger room in the basement with hot tub . it was enormous but the problem is we cannot sleep because of the exit light sign in the bedroom and the fridge they were constantly on. i brought the matter to the reception to ask if they can switch off the light but nothing has been resolved. for a room that can accommodate more than 10 people there should be at least two bathroom and toilet. but theres only one so we are five in the room and need to wait for someone to finish before you can use it. thats the only problem i had in the hotel .

Room great, hottub brilliant and Barman was fantastic, gave us happy hour prices (out of hours) and my wife a gin glass of wine. Only issue was breakfast. With over an hour of service to go, they ran out of hot food on the buffet and didn’t bring more out.

Room was not great. Carpet in need of a clean and couches badly stained. Bathroom floor badly marked. Guests in other rooms going between rooms and very noisey. Staff were friendly but overall i would not be rushing back.

Room was nicely decorated but the stains on the floor in bathroom and iron burns on carpet let it down Staff seemed lovely Breakfast was let down by being cold My advice would be to make sure the food is kept hot. Staff in restaurant need training on cleaning tables as didn’t spray with sanitiser, just wiped with a cloth and re laid for next guests. Having worked in environmental health that’s not good to see. All in all a restful stay but wouldn’t return.

What a beautiful hotel, stayed here with 5 girls for a Christmas night out, the lady in reception was very friendly and the room we had was absolutely amazing 3 super king sized beds,,which was very clean and very spacious, also a large bathroom with a large jacuzzi The breakfast was very good, We all had a fabulous night away. Not much selection especially for one vegetarian in the party. No bar person for first 5-10 minutes was told he was on a walk around and would be back. Rooms clean but bathroom flooring and door needs attention , carpet stained in bedroom could be covered with a rug ?

Our recent stay at the hotel was generally pleasant, primarily due to a fantastic location and the highly accommodating nature of the front-desk staff. The check-in was smooth, and the room itself was clean, spacious, and featured a very comfortable bed, ensuring a good night's sleep. The public areas, such as the lobby, were also well-maintained and welcoming. However, there were several small details that prevented this from being a truly excellent experience, especially considering the price point. The most noticeable omission was the lack of complementary amenities that guests often rely on. Specifically, there was no bottled water provided in the room, which is a standard convenience in hotels of this caliber. We also found the absence of simple slippers to be inconvenient, making the cold bathroom floor less comfortable. These small touches are what elevate a good stay to a great one. While these are minor items, they significantly contribute to the overall guest experience and perception of value. Addressing these basic in-room amenities would go a long way in improving the perceived quality and comfort of the accommodations. We would consider staying again if these minor, yet important, service enhancements are implemented.
