Clean and simple hotel in an excellent location in the middle of the action. The hotel does not have a proper entrance to be picked up or dropped off. You have a 5 minute walk down the alley to get to the entrance of hotel, which I personally found inconvenient. Especially when you have luggage or it’s raining. Also, sadly we were next to the elevator, so we could totally hear the elevators going up and down very early in the morning.

The room was very nice and clean but the shower was not very hot. The staff were lovely but the introduction was confusing. I didn't understand what all the different charges were and my bank statement suggests I paid twice. All needs to be more straightforward

Couldnt work out how to change temperature in the room as it seemed to make no difference am- not sure it was on - but it wasn’t a problem as we weren’t in the room for long

Perfect location, extremely polite and helpful staff, professional without being over the top or non-human. Shower was great. Room was spotless and spacious enough, with all the essentials. Pillows were great. The only thing for me was the bed wasn’t too my liking and a bit squeaky haha but didn’t deter from the overall stay. Will be back!

A fantastic stay at School Lane Hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly, warm and welcoming, and they made our first trip with our puppy feel completely effortless and enjoyable. The level of cleanliness throughout the hotel was outstanding. Our room was absolutely spotless, with a gleaming bathroom, crisp white sheets and fluffy fresh towels. Our family room was perfect, with great separate space for the kids and an amazing power shower. We left genuinely impressed.
