My room was fine although felt walls particularly in bathroom were scuffed. I was staying solo in a king room which was nice although the air con would not work I did try to contact guest services, house keeping and reception but no one answered my call. I did report when I was checking out that this was not working so another guest would not have to experience room temp of 26 degrees. Was convenient for the purposes of my stay. Staff were very friendly although did not have much contact, was shocked that I was charged for my daughter a Uni student to join me for a coffee at breakfast this morning. I just paid the £15 but thought a bit of discretion could have applied. Overall a pleasant stay at a good price.

We have stayed here a number of times, as our daughter goes to the Uni of Liverpool and it is near her accommodation. Brilliant that she can come and join us for breakfast too. We realise now that the first time we stayed we must have had an upgrade as the rooms since haven’t been as nice. It is of no consequence though and it is always our first choice. Lovely staff, lovely breakfast and nothing at all to fault.
