Arrived just as a coach full of Spanish travellers arrived so we headed to the bar to wait to check in. After checking in and reaching our room were dismayed to see bathroom had a leak and the floor was covered in water. We were told hotel was fully booked (a wedding party was taking place) but the lovely receptionist managed to swap rooms for us but unfortunately this was on a lower floor above the party. The new room was very clean and warm- too warm with the temperature measuring 26.7degrees so we needed the air conditioning on- very noisy and hot! A lot of noise from the wedding music too! Just unfortunate!
Clearly had been a great hotel but somewhat needs a refurb. Room was well appointed, fridge was a nice surprise. However, one towel was full of holes, and the beds were VERY uncomfortable due to the mattresses being well past their best. We requested, and we're promised that the mattresses would be changed while we were out for the day, however on our late return if it had been changed then only worth another past-it mattress.
