Poor communication before and at check in caused more issues than should have been necessary. If staff had been upfront with guests when they were dropping their bags off in the afternoon, people wouldn't have been so frustrated. Once we got into the room, everything was perfect. Lovely room and an excellent breakfast with a bonus of gluten free options.

The Hotel the Staff the Location the Food the Drink ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I cannot fault a thing so much so weve not decided to make it a regular visit. If you get to go DO its a must. Had to wait almost 2 hours for our room, but the staff were very kind and the hotel itself was great. Despite it being in the city centre, considering the noise around us, the rooms were very well soundproofed.

The room was in good condition but you had no room for 3 people one double bed one single bed table and chair There was no draws to put anything in it could do with more storage There was trouble next door a couple arguing and thumping the walls and it was reported to reception which they acted straight away the police also attended the incident The hotel itself is in a prime position the staff were very friendly, The food was very good at the hotel breakfast was very good and evening meal was good wish there were more selection to choose from in the evening meals and the beds were comfortable

Hotel itself was very modern and in central location to city centre. Only issue we had was the room was far too warm and the bed not comfortable (did not sleep too well on both nights).

Check-in was unavailable until 4.30pm, despite 3pm being stated. The member of staff that actually checked us in was lovely and he apologised for the delay, however another member of staff signposted us to the check-in machines knowing that rooms were not ready. The room itself was a deluxe room. Generally ok, but only one set of towels available, no information about the hotel in the room and the bed seemed to slope to one side. Cleaning was obviously done in a rush, only half the table wiped (where the glasses go) as there was a clear 50:50 dust line and there were cloth wipe lines in the bathroom i.e. middle of shower screen, middle and on door, rather than wiping whole thing. Breakfast had a great selection and was fresh. Highlight of the stay. Coffee machine was a bit naff - coffee not great and hot chocolate was more milk and water. Hotel has great location and easy parking at John Lewis with discount code. Overall good hotel, shame about the check-in issues and rushed cleaning.

The room was fabulous, absolutley spotless and comfortable. We stayed in room 716 and the view of the dock was superb. Food dinner and breakfast was top notch and the staff amazing and sound like locals which is a breath of fresh air. Thank you for an excellent stay 😘
